Notifications is a Synetiq My Green Parts's small visual enhancement that tells you when new jobs have arrived to Synetiq My Green Parts.
Every time you go to a page, a countdown starts. If you are on same page more than 5 minutes, the website starts checking if new jobs have arrived since you arrived to the page.
If there are new jobs, a notification is shown to you.
How the notification looks like depends on your browser.
As long as the website is pinned to the toolbar, the icon on toolbar will flash and show a number of new jobs when new jobs arrive to Synetiq My Green Parts:
To prevent website to send more notifications, just unpin the website from toolbar.
Google Chrome
To enable notifications for Google Chrome, you have to give permission to Synetiq My Green Parts to send notifications.
When you log in, the website will pop up a window asking permission to send notifications:
If you click allow, the website will show this kind of notification each time new jobs arrive:
If you click block, the website will not ask again and you will not receive notifications.
You can always change your decision by clicking the padlock in the address bar and select a different option from drop down menu:
Firefox
To enable notifications for Firefox, you have to give permission to Synetiq My Green Parts to send notifications.
When you log in, you need to click the little speech bubble in the address-bar to give permission to send notifications:
If you click 'Allow Notifications', the website will show this kind of notification each time new jobs arrive:
If you click 'Never Allow', the website will not show you notifications.
You can always change permission by clicking the padlock in the address-bar and click the 'X' next to Allowed:
